Medium red with a tinge of orange, the 2020 Barolo is fresh and spicy, with aromas of raspberries, mint, anise, and fresh leather. Medium-bodied, it has ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, clean finish. Its fruit perfume lasts long on the back palate, and it has a weightless feel. A very pretty and elegant red, give it another year or two and drink over the following 15 years.

The 2020 Barolo from Margherita Otto offers heady aromas recalling ripe forest berry, violet, crushed herb, camphor and baking spice. Polished and delicious, the full-bodied, enveloping palate features raspberry compote, succulent red cherry, cinnamon and mint accompanied by crushed velvet tannins.
